If you're looking for a good location with lots of different backdrop options, Capen is the place for you! It's a really popular local spot in Columbia, Missouri so you're sure to run into other people doing their sessions here but there's so many little hidden gems throughout the park.

It doesn't have to be Spring, Summer or Fall to get beautiful photographs! These were taken in Mid-December and there's still plenty of nice colors and richness. Being a candid/documentary photographer, Capen is such a wonderful place. There's so many spots at the park you can use to your advantage! If you're up for a little hike, you can actually reach the peak of Capen and view the beautiful scenery from atop the rocks. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset!

The bridge is a huge spectacle here as well- there's a small clearing you can head down and access the water to get the bridge in the background of your photos or you can just hang out on the top and get some great views there as well! Capen is one of our favorite spots with so much to offer! If you haven't been, you need to add it to your list!
